I think this is warranted. Bonobos' quality has really dropped. I got a dress shirt from them and the quality was comparable to J.Crew Factory - pretty cheap. Disappointing given how $ they are.

Ever since they were bought by Walmart everything is different. I notice it a lot with the stitching of the shirts coming loose

Warning regarding Final Sale.

I went to their official store to get fitted, ordered that exact size/fit, and it fit totally different.

Therefore, due to their inconsistency, I wouldn't order anything Final Sale since it may not fit--even if you did everything possible to get properly fitted for their brand at their official shop.

I think this is warranted. Bonobos' quality has really dropped. I got a dress shirt from them and the quality was comparable to J.Crew Factory - pretty cheap. Disappointing given how $ they are.

I've been waiting for a good sale at Bonobos for awhile. Thank you for posting OP!

My experience with their quality: I've had really good experiences with Bonobos clothing. They are my go to clothes for office work and formal events. I do get all of the Bonobos clothing dry cleaned though.

I read that their athletic cut pants are great. Bought some to find out. Free returns so i feel safe.

They're not the only ones. Clothing manufacturers (whose label may not even be on the clothes) all source from a select few warehouse bidding for their orders. The top label brands don't supervise manufacturing within their own factories any more and you get the take it or leave it treatment ... People will still pay a lot of money for brand labels though

Do their shirts run big? I noticed many of the models are wearing size M but are ~6ft tall (and dont look too lanky)

Bonobos pants are still solid but I find nothing with their shirts to recommend at any price point. They're not necessarily bad but it's something you wear for a couple of years and discard. If you're okay with that, you can do as well with a budget shirts costing $20 to $30.

I'm 6"2 and love Bonobos, however, after dryer on delicates they've shrunk right to bottom of belt and had to retire 3 shirts earlier than i wanted. Tried large and xl.

Yup. This seems to be happening with every store I've been buying clothes from. Brooks Brothers is garbage now. Same with Charles Tyrwhitt. Now Bonobos.


Where are people getting decently made apparel now???
