If you eat fourteen boxes a day 7 days a week for a month you'll get half the actual amount they injected rats with to prove that the dye causes problems!
They're trying to get rid of this crap before it is illegal.
All Post cereals are on sale today. Product opinions aside, it's not always some grand conspiracy if a manufacturer is having a sale.

Board Meeting: So how are we gonna get rid of the tons of cereals with red dye poison?

CEO: we'll just do a mass sale on all cereals and have our shills across our media platforms mock anyone that questions it. Works all the time.

Dudes, there is no red 3 in this. But these get soggy too fast.

For comparison, costco regular price is $7.59 for 46.5 oz, 16.3c per oz.

This doesn't use Red dye #30, it uses Red dye #40 per the ingredients list: Ingredients Rice, Sugar, Canola Oil, Salt, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Red 40, Yellow 6, Yellow 5, Turmeric Oleoresin (color), Blue 1, Blue 2, BHT and BHA added to preserve freshness

Red Dye No 3 was banned. Red Dye No. 40 is banned in California but it probably on the short list to be banned as well. One can debate the merits of it but companies like Aldi got way ahead of the curve and removed all artificial colors from their products years ago. Side by side their products are less bright but seem to taste just fine.

PRO TIP: Small bowls at a time and use very little milk. If you like milk so much, pour a glass!

You would think they would have invented some other harmful chemical additive that would keep them crispy longer by now.
