Since it's a BOGO type deal, it's not horrible.

But, the Samsung 6900 series is pretty bottom of the barrel when it comes to today's offerings. Probably a good deal for someone who is moving into a new home and needs a couple of spare tvs to fill out the rooms.

Not sure why this isn't getting more attention. Seems like a solid deal! I know it's not OLED or QLED, but it's a great price for two entry level TVs.

There's not a TV out there where you wouldn't need a soundbar, especially a budget TV. And the complaints about the OS I'll also never understand. A Roku stick is less than $20 and about as much of a requirement for any TV as much as a soundbar

Use it as a computer monitor? I'm using a 4k 43" monitor right now, it spoils you very quickly. 60hz isn't great for games but for non FPS stuff and office work, not a problem.

I have a TV with tizen and it's not a great os but if you like to tinker, there's some cool things on GitHub you can load onto it. Also supports Xbox game pass built right into it, which is kinda cool.

Samsung used to be really good tvs. Now I would buy a TCL or Hisense for a much better TV in the same price range.

bought an hisense from costco and it die in a little over a month. When I brought it back for return, there was another guy in front arguing with the store manager about the damn TV die in 5 months and Hisense customer service is shxt to deal with. I was glad mine die so quickly within the return window! To be clear, mine didn't really die, a very thin white vertical showed up after a month.
