This device is actually incredible but it's quite easy to lose the magnetic backings. The new version of this is out now and it doesn't cost much more.
Sound quality comparable to tascam DR10L

Good price with extra compatibility. I ended up going with the Smallrig mic in the end because it was cheaper and I didn't ne3d the added compatibility of the lark.

These work exceptionally well, especially at this price point. I have several types of wireless lavs for various video projects, and these are always a favorite of the people I mic up because of how unobtrusive they are.

Is the $30 more worth the upgrade since it's just msrp? I have 0 experience and plan to pair it with a dj osmo pocket
I have this set and it sounds incredible.... My only gripe is that all the accessories doesn't fit in the case, so you have a pouch for all the other stuff. I'm also a bit concerned about the magnet (read that some people had issues with it falling off).
I saw the M2S. I think the M2 sounds better, but for the convenience of having all the dongles in one case is nice... and the footprint is way smaller than the M2S, which I Like.
I'm planning to return my M2 and go for either the M2S or the DJI Mic Mini (I like the sound profile better).
I use these with my iphone to mic up my two kids when I'm recording them, playing on their bikes or anything adventures where they are venturing off far.
Can't recommend them enough for parents, as the audio of your kids talking makes the memories count double. I hadn't realize how much stuff they actually say. I haven't been able to reach the distance range limit yet.
I've only had magnets drop the mic once and it was a pretty hard fall.
Also use them for a few video interviews and with an insta360 setup, through the aux mode.
Can't recommend this brand enough for a cheap setup on the professional side (whether you go for these ones or the new model)
Upgraded from common cheap amazon ones, due to them not having enough range, and the audio quality is also miles ahead.
How are these for podcasting? Would love to control each channel separately for gain post-recording, but seeing online that they only support a single audio output - anyone able to chime in?
