I purchased the iZeeker 2.5k dash cam off of Amazon about 4 months ago. It's really a no frills cam but has served me really well so far and the video quality is great for what I need it for. I'm not going to be able to pull license plates off of cars in the dark but all I really need is something to prove fault in case of an accident. It was only $39 at the time but it's actually $10 off atm so an even better deal. Might get another for my wife's car came with a long cable, SD card and a pry tool to hide the cables in the car seams

dashcam market seems so "sketchy" for lack of a better term.

I would like to buy one, but the number of options and 1000s of brands is intimidating.

I bought ROVE R2-4K PRO in $75 earlier and haven't opened the package yet. Should I return that and get this one instead? The last date to return is Jan 31.

Any cheap dash cam with a "smart app" is not worth it. Get one without app integration and you'll be happier. All of these apps are so poorly made

1000% even the "brand name" BlackVue recently changed their "free forever" streaming to be no longer free.

Their wording makes it sound like the App might work - but also sounds like all access will end unless you move to a paid plan.
