Get the Samsung Galaxy S25 128GB when trading in most old phones. I just traded in an old Galaxy S10E and got $710 trade in value.

I'm confused by the terms of the trade-in, which say: "Trade-in offer requires customers to trade in qualifying device, purchase and activate a new device. Trade-in device must have a value greater than $0. If the value of the trade-in device credit exceeds the cost of the new device, credit will be reflected on bill statement within 2-3 bill cycles. Promotional credits are reflected over 36 mos. on the bill statement. "
So this trade-in is partially 'Trade-In Refund' on the checkout page and then 'Additional Spectrum promotion value of $700'. I guess the trade-in refund gets refunded to our credit card, and then $700 shows up on the bill statement in 2-3 months?
Then at that point you just call in and they also refund that part back to your card?
I wonder how it works when the trade-in device costs more than the new device.

Verizon blamed Spectrum, Spectrum said they unlocked everything on their end, and Samsung said there's no issue with their phones.
Multiple cases over a year have gotten no resolution.
