Worse, I was quoted $120 for my iphone when I called to verify the trade in value.
Very shady and misleading marketing tactics here.
I suggest everyone call and ask about the details of this offer.

The key question people have is based on some small print being altered from last year's offer, making it possible they won't give full credit right to account which can then be requested back to CC
If you do it in store, it really is stupidly simple
Source: I've done three trade ins at Spectrum store. In and out in 15 minutes for each. Paid around 100 bucks out of pocket every time. That's all

Can't even imagine shipping in a 1000 dollar phone and then waiting another week or two for it to be processed
Now if it's a janky ass old phone, it's okay. But I'd rather the Spectrum employee at store look at it for thirty seconds and no risk involved
And that avenue should still be open, pending some actual experiences and data points soon to come in a week or two once released

this is exactly I am trying to say after reading the fine print of credit spread over 36 months. People still keep referencing old story. It is 2025 not 2023 or 2024. Things changed and spectrum got smart.

edit: I went to the store too and this was confirmed by one of their reps. "You basically pay the amount after the discount and promos" so no $900 and then you get a refund BS in store.
