How do ppl transfer the data if you are currently using the trade-in phone??
1.) I've ordered a new Moto G Play to use for the trade-in value. It's from Tracfone. Never having used a Tracfone phone...what do I have to do to get this phone in a state that is eligible for the trade-in? One comment says to 'activate' the phone. And a comment says "so long as the phone is not locked". Yet, a comment in the QVC Moto G Play thread says that an unlock is not necessary (and has not been in the past). So, I'm looking for some guidance and clarification.
2.) I've read recent comments that say the phone will have Spectrum branding. How can this be removed? Is it possible? I purchased my current phone after reading a great thread many years ago here on Slickdeals about the old Galaxy S8 phone from Cricket. It too was branded, but I think in order to remove the branding someone recommended an Ebay service to do so? I actually did do it...but honestly I don't remember the process (and my hard drive has since crashed which had notes). Any advise and guidance is much appreciated. Thanks all and good luck!
2) Spectrum Samsungs can be flashed with Odin with U1 firmware for no carrier bloatware, or to your carrier's U firmware since some carriers requires their firmware for some services like wifi calling. Odin and firmware can be downloaded for free.

I talked to customer care and they mentioned that I can pay for full. If I pay full, will I able to get credit sooner or do I need to wait for 36 months?
Customer care told me if I pay in full and once the trade in is completed, then we would be able to credit full sooner. I wanted to confirm anyone tried this option already
I guess maybe they can wait for you to complete the transfer?? Anyone else have done this?
