It will cover the taxes, i traded in a phone for s25 plus, tradein value is 1220, and after tax value of s25 plus is 1075, they added credit to account, which i moved to cc by talking to a customer care rep via chat

If i have two moto g phones, can i trade them in for two s25 on one/same line? If so, will the first s25 be unlock eligible after 60days? Does the device need to be active for 60days or line being active however on a device for 60 days is enough?

Just completed this deal.
Traded in an iphone 11 with a cracked screen(just the glass lcd was usable) and ended up playing $154 for the s25.
got an email saying trade in complete
got an email saying my purchase was complete and it was "paid in full"(as a line item)
i thought i was going to have to pay for a line but i ended up getting a free line even though i had a free line in the past that i canceled. Thinking of splashing in for a second on with this math
$30 x 2 + $154 + another broken iphone 11

Maybe its changed. But I had 2 lines. I originally had the razr 2023+ phones activated, but switched to S24's about 2 weeks after initially activating. I tried to unlock the razr phones after a little over 60 days and I was told they tried but said they couldn't because the phones had not been active the full 60 days.

In full honesty I don't remember if I had switched the sim back to the razr's or not though

Warning! I went into a spectrum store and wanted to check how much I would get for my trade in. He said CA doesn't charge tax on the full phone but only the after trade in price. For a S25 ultra it would be $360 out the door. So I said OK let's do it. After a few minutes he said OK the final price is $440. Sorry they charged tax on the full price. I was like wtf? Forget it then. I actually wanted a S25+ and $440 was a bit much. I said I don't want it. He said he already activated a new line. These guys are scum.

They won't check the final price for you until they input and activate a new line. Be careful!

Haven't done it but showing $1113 trade in total for S25 and S25+ would be $1095 with CA tax. Wasn't considering that before but now I'm thinking about it.
