Long term, cost is the same. Short term, online you have to pay for the whole thing up front, then mail away the trade and cross your fingers it's not lost in the mail or Assurant doesn't screw it up. In store, the trade is immediately credited and you only pay the difference at point of sale. So in store is much shorter, smoother process for 1 trade, but if you do multiple, they start asking questions.

Just going off what the fine print said. It takes precedent over everything, and is usually the gotcha moment,
Can I go in store and do 2 phones on the free line they are giving me as promotion, or will they tell me I need to open a second line while I'm there to do the second trade in?

So it would be best to get my spouse's phone, and my phone, bring it to the store, and have them port it over to those two lines, or can I do all that from home?

I did my 1st trade in yesterday. I ultimately wanted the 25 ultra titanium grey. My first store had all in stock so I figured other stores would have it in stock too. Debated between trading in my s21 for just the ultra and being done with it. But seeing so many ppl optimizing it with old phone to s25 to ultra I decided maybe I should try and save some money. Traded in s21 to s25. Then went to the next store but had no stock, then I checked 3 other stores no stock. Of course only the 1st store had it, just my luck. Went back to the first store and they were sold out. At this point I figure I may have farked up and i just put myself thru more trouble than it's worth. I tried again next day, 1st store was oos. I decided to drive a little further to a store I haven't tried yet and lo and behold they had it but only in titanium black. I didn't want to risk not finding another so did the trade in to s25 to ultra right there. So for me it was 2 of 8.
