How do you get more than 1 phone off of only 1 line of service?
You keep trading the phones in that 1 line

They do have physical SIM slot by the way. And you can request a physical SIM when upgrading or getting a new line

Do you have to have the spectrum SIM inside the trade in phones?

NO. You keep the SIM and use it to activate the next phone.

When you guys say trade the sim in 60 days to each phone. Do you mean keep it in one for 60 days, unlock, then switch to the other and wait 60 days then request unlock? Or will both be unlocked even if it didn't have a sim card after 60 days?

GOT SCAMMED BY SPECTRUM, HELP 😭 Sorry for the long story, but I would like to give the details what happened, so you guys can understand better. My story: I opened a mobile on February 11th. I traded in a Moto G Power 2024 phone for S25. Today I went to a Spectrum store and asked an associate if I can upgrade my S25 to S25 Ultra. The Associate who is a young lady told me that I might do an upgrade, but doing an exchange will be better instead. I said I just want to upgrade my S25 to S25 Ultra. She kept saying that doing exchange would be better and I save more money than upgrading. She did calculation to show me the difference I have to pay if I exchange to S25 Ultra. I said please let me know the difference between exchange and upgrading and I will decide if I want do it or not. Then she came in the back and brought a phone. Then she scanned the box and was about to open the box. I said "Hold on, please don't open it. Let me know how much I have to pay in full today if I want to upgrade. She said $266.50 and she said she give me some time to think about it. Then she went in the back. And then, you guys know what happened? I received an email saying that Order confirmation. The email said that I have an exchange transaction, from S25 to s25 Plus, include the $50 restocking fee. OMG!!! I never approved that transaction. I never approved that I want an EXCHANGE. I logged in to my bank account and saw that my card got charged $266.50. The associate charged my card without my consent. She just scammed me. And no one talked to me, I was waiting about 30 minutes. Then the store manager came to me and said she will be with me. The store manager asked me if that $266.50 I just made online, because the scammed associate told her that. I said no, that girl just charged me recently without asking me. Then I showed her my account statement. After seeing my account statement, the store manager said "what you want, you don't want exchange?" I said no, I don't want exchange, and why that associate charged my money without my consent. The store manager then called somebody and then she came back. She said so she just cancelled the exchange transaction from S25 to S25 Plus. In the meantime, I received an email saying that my original trade in which I did on February 11th was CANCELLED. I didn't know what happened. Then the store manager left and told me another associate will do my case. I asked the other associate why they cancelled my original trade in. She said she has no idea. I asked her if they cancelled my exchange transaction, she said yes, they cancelled already. I asked her " can you give the cancelation receipt", she said No, we cannot give you the receipt, but the money will go back to your card within 3-5 business days. But as I know, if you cancel anything, you will get the cancelation email. I left the store, called to Spectrum Customer Service to ask them to check if the exchange transaction was cancelled or not. The CSR told me that the transaction still there, but they cannot do anything, I need to go to the physical store to do that. So now I don't have the S25 Plus and they still charged me. And they changed me without asking me, without my consent. They Scammed me. Can you please tell me what shoud I do? Thank you.
Your best bet here is to return the phone and take hit with the restocking fee and cancel the lines to make sure you don't incur any other charges. The trade in phones you cannot get back.
I doubt you can come out of this with a favorable outcome to you. Just my two cents.

I'm an existing customer. I currently have an S22 Ultra. I would like to get to an S25 ultra. Do I trade in my s22 ultra for an s25. Then the next day trade that in for an s25 ultra?
Also any fees associated with this? I'm also currently on the cheapest unlimited plan there is if that matters?
Thanks in advance

its very easy to check it yourself. just go to product page and enter your trade in device and see the tiv. no need us to check it for u. just play with the tiv for each device.
s22u to s25u
s22u to s25 then s25 to s25u

No, keep the sim in first wanted locked phone for 60 days, at 61st day, request for unlocking.
After unlocked the 1st phone, pop sim to 2nd locked phone, wait a day to request unlocking....repeat if you have more than 2

Given this location has come up several times in this thread, I think I dealt with this same rep, but I don't want to dox her and my location. That's hilarious. The rep tried to get me to do the same exchange thing when I tried to go from S25 to S25+ and I was like no you don't. I got TF out of there. She seemed all over the place. The store reps are morons and play all sorts of games like hiding phones and saying it's out of stock. Unfortunately, I think you are SOL and you'll have to chalk it up as a loss with whatever they end up doing, I think they are mostly fair with resolutions. I'd recommend everyone just pay the $40-$60 extra per line and do it online.

On a side note, looks like the S25+ 512gb is out of stock online

Maybe give some hint as to which location it is so others don't wind up going there too? Like the first two letters of the city it's in lol

I've never had a bad experience over like 7 trade ins total all over my city

Usually saying you want to upgrade or add a line and do trade in is pretty straightforward on their end too. Don't have to be Einstein to do it, I'd figure

Anyone who did online and mailed in the trade-ins got the refund yet? I received email saying my trade-in was received and will receive the credit in 2 billing cycles. I haven't seen the credit in my account yet, so want to know how long it actually takes. The good thing is the email says the promotional credit will be credited in a lump sum, not over 36 months.
Did you get any further updates on your trade-in?

Never assume, don't underestimate how incompetent some can be.
