So all in, I paid 102 incl tax to upgrade from old phone to s25, got back a credit of 113$ for trading in s25 to s25+ and paid 129$ incl tax to go from s25+ to s25 ultra effectively making my s25 ultra upgrade 119$
New Navy S25 128gb in hand for 153$ out the door (got 5$ for trade in for an old Moto G 2021). (CA resident you have to pay sales tax on the full amount of the phone which was 58$ of the 153$)
I never have been a spectrum mobile customer so they created a new line on the year free deal, waived activation. Made sure to say I want to pay in full, and wanted a physical sim. Rep was able to do it pretty easy with zero fuss. Full trade in / promo credit applied right away.
Do this deal in store guys!

I opened a second line to get the S25 Ultra. $20 activation fee and $30 1st month. Still a good deal and I also don't want to drive around the town.
1) anyone had this happen before and fixed it?
2) would this clear up in a week or so? The fraud team was clueless
3) anyone actually done in any trade in online and got the taxes refunded? I don't mind in the case
No one knows how long blocks last. I'm about to find out this weekend. 7 days after my last blocked attempt. Looks like new line opening doesn't quite get around the in store transaction limit. How many lines you got total?

a refund credit of $50. The rep wouldn't do the second line. Went in today to do the same thing with a new rep and they told me it would cost ~$240. When I asked they said the $700 was only once, so I think you're right that they processed as an exchange.
Has anyone tried the s25 trade in for an s25+ or ultra online using the upgrade option? Curious of this may be a work around?
