Was anyone able to take advantage of this deal, having just gotten Spectrum internet in the last week? I'm thinking that might be why I can't do it in store, because I'm too new?

Same here. They issued the refund (surplus trade-in credit) of $122.33 to my credit card. However, the estimated bill for next month went up by $122.33. I called customer service - they weren't sure why the system is doing that. They advised me to call them if I still see the charge on next month bill (once it gets generated).
Off topic, but how do you see your next estimated bill? I have looked and can't figure it out.

Thanks

See above, another poster commented about how it'll show on bill like that even after they give you the credit

Happened to me last year too

No. I have been turned down twice, after they take my SSN and DL, even though my credit is really good.

Have they even been checking SSN and DL for all the people getting lots of S25s?

Yes, they always do

Now I have seen DP saying they don't run a thing in fact and you can enter whatever. Really

But it's usually understood to be a soft credit pull

I don't think I've come across anyone being denied outright for bad SSN and ID?

It's not a credit pull, they take a photo of your id for fraud purposes I guess

Someone else mentioned how they were denied in this thread. I'm not sure what their circumstances are, though. Maybe my account is too new…it is less than a week old.

Nothing wrong with my SSN, DL, or credit. The credit shouldn't be a factor, anyway. They are giving the credit up front.

The only other thing I can think of is, I'm an authorized user, not account holder.

I am seeing the same as well. When the bill got generated was it normal or you had to call CS to have this resolved?

Oops , asked the question the wrong way. In my account I can only see the last bill and the next scheduled payment. Can't find anywhere to see the next estimated bill. Using a laptop. Maybe in the app?

Thanks!

I believe that the account has to be in your name

For me the account was under my sister. She called spectrum to add me as an authorized user. I was able to get s25 > s25P
