I shipped my device on the taped up S25 box while dropping it off at UPS. I took a video of the process with my Rayban meta glasses (and took a look at the box IMEI/serial numbers) BUT didn't take a video of me putting the phone in there (maybe I should have). I dropped it off yesterday evening, the tracking no matches the tracking no on Spectrum tracking page, but it hasn't updated.
They scanned a buncha barcodes, and then printed out an Assurant pack n slip page with some reference numbers as well as a UPS receipt.
UPS itself hasn't updated beyond "On the way" and says delivery date was "today between 930 and 1200 PM" lol. It's 6 PM. There's no way it's reaching Texas with UPS ground in 16 hours.
I have this weird dread that it's going to get stolen or "lost" in transit.
I should have just used USPS. Ugh.

Sounds like you did everything right. Maybe the UPS store mixed things up. Did the phone you sent from the 2nd UPS store work out correctly?

The one I shipped out from the 2nd store arrived in a timely manner (shipped on Wed and arrived yesterday) and am I currently waiting for Spectrum's confirmation.

Yet, many have said that USPS was very slow and that UPS was great. This is the first time that someone posted an issue with UPS. Still mystified that they gave any credit at all when the trade in was "mismatched" It's not over, though I'm sure spacedest wishes it was already fixed.

Can you share a screenshot of the "Progress" for UPS tracking page with your location/tracking blacked out? I am curious what it looks like given that mine is "On the way" with 0 updates.

Anyone can report any success with Moto G Play 24 trade-in being mailed?
I searched the thread and it seems G Play 23 are good but not much on Play 24 (it is on the trade-in) list.

One of my in-store tradeins was 24 motoG play. Accepted just fine. $799-$710. Paid $96 with taxes ($89+7)

Did you ship the S25 in it's original black box? or did you hand the bare phone over to UPS to get packed? I used USPS and packed on my own using the original s25 box so it's hard for them to claim something else.

Make sure your phone has battery left and turn it off completely before shipping. If it arrives dead without a charge, they may mark it as DOA and deny credit! don't count on Assurant to charge your phone for you.

I shipped all phones bare with UPS as others have done here. I even asked the clerks and their system told them they had to pack it themselves.

Based on my experience last year dealing with personnel from the Assurant and Spectrum specialist teams, they were consistently unwilling to review my videos or pictures of the phone. Therefore, I'm skeptical that shooting videos and taking pictures will serve as effective evidence to prove our case. However, it's possible that procedures may have changed this year.
This time, I didn't even bother taking any pictures or videos. And it seems that UPS is doing its job well, based on your experiences.

. I just dropped my S25 off at a UPS store today. They let me to put the phone in the original black box though. Lets hope for the best.
