Picked up the JumpShip edition (all DLCs). Thank you doublehelixx. This is a good deal on a very well regarded game. The ganeplay reminds me of 2 and 3 more than 4. Any other MechWarrior fans out there?

I'm a huge MechWarrior 5 fan. I play with my Thrustmaster HOTAS config so have that aspect of realism... I just love it. I do own the core game from Epic Game store but I am considering moving to steam since I do not own any DLC and it's much cheaper to rebuy the core game and all DLC via steam. Thanks OP!

Was also EGS purchase. Moved to Steam since the DLCs go on discount more and Steam workshop is great.

The JumpShip edition only contains 2 out of the 6 DLCs.

I played it on the steam deck without mods and it did okay. But it doesn't work well with any graphical mod.

You should definitely get the steam version, because it will open up access to mods. MW5 has a fairly extensive community of modders, and they really elevate the game.

Worth it? Haven't played since the ancient era, 1 + 2 from the 90s.

Looked at the Jumpship edition and it seems to only include 2 DLC for $24, Heroes of inner sphere and legend of the kestrel lancers

Years ago when this came out the HOTAS support was lackluster. I have a VIRPIL/VKB setup, did they ever sort all the issues out?
