I have several of the Ferrosi pants and the material is too thin to hold good shape - looks droopy. I switched to the heavier Voodoo and wear them all the time.
Style is boxy whish I fid frustrating for windbreakers.
All that said the price is good enough that I a going to try a large vs normal xl on the hooded version and return if it doesn't look right.

Exposure to PFAS from wearing water resistant clothing is probably low. But buy and use at your own risk. If you do decide to wear, it's good practice to wear a layer underneath to minimize exposure, which I'm sure most people will. The higher risk seems to be from the manufacturing process and PFAS getting into our water, soil and environment.
Here's a good unbiased article. https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutte...-clothing/

This model (as most OR jackets do) runs slightly small. Sleeves slightly too long IMO. Provides no rain resistance, limited wind resistance, limited warmth, it is stretchy. Very comfortable, extremely breathable, good for hiking and fairly strenuous exercise. I have no idea if the Sam's version is the same as OR though.
Edit: OP asked about temperature range: with t-shirt, 55-60. With t-shirt and thermal underlayer, 50. Both assuming little to no wind.
Edit #2: This does NOT appear to be the same thing as what I got directly from OR a few years ago (older version). The material on mine is roughly (there are 2 types of similar material used, with slightly different composition) 90% nylon and 10% elastane. The one on Sam's club is made of nylon, spandex and cordura. But the version sold now on OR's website is very similar or identical to the version sold at Sam's, and also similar in feel/features to the previous generation I have, from what I read on various reviews on the web.
