It's better to buy at store. i ordered online and send in a brand new Iphone (just bought 3 days at Metro). Assurance said it is valued $0 becaus it cannot power on.
did you fully charged the brand new iPhone and ensure it was powered off prior to shipping?

I was going to go with this deal and got to the end but have a question. Am I locked in for 36 months even if I buy the phone outright after my trade in?

Nope just 2 months to unlock

Here was my experience this weekend with this deal. Previously had ordered 1 phone online (S25+) and sent trade-in to assurant who received it 3 weeks ago but hasnt updated anything in the portal yet. Bought 2 S25 phones (with 2 new lines) last weekend at local store (store C). Friday, went to store A (with appointment), they had no stock. Saturday went to store B, they had inventory, but the system was saying they had to ship the device to my house (which would cause the trade-in to be online). [Not sure if I was blocked as I had only bought 2 in store at that point] I left and went home. I chatted with Spectrum online and explained that I was trying to add lines/phones to my account and was blocked in the store. They said they could help me online. I told them I wanted to do it in store so that the trade was processed instantly. She put a note on my account to allow me to buy the phones in store.

Today, I went to Store C and was able to buy 1 S25 on a new line (with my last Moto Edge plus trade in) and then upgrade the S25+ I had bought online originally for an S25 Ultra. So now I have 3 S25s and 1 S25 Ultra. Debating whether to try tomorrow to upgrade 2 of the S25s to S25+'s as they would be about $10 each. Not sure if it's worth the hassle.

You don't have the $700 trade in credit 3 weeks after it was delivered to Assurant?

Correct. Chatted with Spectrum 3 times now. They keep saying nothing to worry about. Assurant has it at their warehouse, credit will be there on next billing statement. Very frustrating.

I did, full charge it, power off (even if It's not power off, the battery would last at least 2 week with screen off). I even video reset, startup...Spectrum said there is nothing they can do with Assurance, the only option is get the trade in back.

USPS finally delivered my trade in today.... more than 2 weeks after i shipped it out, amazingly they received it yesterday and accepted my trade in same day issued my credit of $748. I was kind of getting worried with USPS. It is my 4th or 5th dealings with Spectrum without any issues

I had one trade in Assurance adjusted the value to $0 as well, but I disputed with a video recording and they're gonna manually mail me a check for the trade in, i don't think i'll be getting the taxes on the trade in back but at least it's not $0.

thats the funny part, it never did based on the USPS tracking. So missed scanned base one on someone else's post. Never had this happen before so was just sharing so that people are aware, it's messy on that end.

Assurant worker is probably going. "WTF are are these moto 2023's coming in brand new and IMEI stickers still on the back of phone.

Example: this was the one I got credit for.

Anyone not get the email "We're ready to receive your device for Trade-In."?
I placed 2 trade in orders online, 1 for each of 2 lines. I got 1 trade in email only. I asked chat, and chat said it is the same offer number for both orders. I don't see how that can be right. The offer number shows the IMEI of the trade in phone. What should I do?

How did you contact Assurant/Spectrum and how long did it take for them to resolve?
