How did you contact Assurant/Spectrum and how long did it take for them to resolve?
here's the customer service email [email protected], you can also find it on the trade in FAQ. make sure you use the same email with the trade in, and include your offer number when contacting them.

I had one trade in Assurance adjusted the value to $0 as well, but I disputed with a video recording and they're gonna manually mail me a check for the trade in, i don't think i'll be getting the taxes on the trade in back but at least it's not $0.
I have disputed, but the date they would make the decision is out of the S25U return date so I returned and get the trade in phone back. I thought the UPS swapped my Ip because I used the service shipping without packaking but when I received the phone back, it is the original brand new phone with the battery 80% and turn on no problem.

Assurant people make mistakes here and there. I just showed them the recording of the phone resetted, imei and that was enough for them to manually approved my trade in.

so interesting, Assurant gave me credit of my last cycle of 1 of 2 moto play 2023's I mailed through USPS even though it still shows in shipping, my other is still in progress
That's USPS in a nutshell. Had that happened to me last year as well. Two of my trade in was stuck forever according to tracking but Assurant one day emails me that they were both accepted.

Go figure.

Anyone not get the email "We're ready to receive your device for Trade-In."?
I placed 2 trade in orders online, 1 for each of 2 lines. I got 1 trade in email only. I asked chat, and chat said it is the same offer number for both orders. I don't see how that can be right. The offer number shows the IMEI of the trade in phone. What should I do?
The other one was never shipped or cancelled.

Spectrum sends the trade in email after the order is shipped. If you only got one, that means they only shipped one.

I have mailed 2 trade-in phones, both got delivered on 2/26, and but only one got credit on 2/28 and no credit for another yet as assurant haven't processed. I have emailed assurant, they have mentioned to wait until 3/12 for 10 business after they have received the device, so they can escalate. But my return period end on 3/9. So, thiniking to initiate the return ( as it gives 10 days to return). Do initialing a device return will disqualify any trade-in promos or assurant will stop processing?

I got 2. Spectrum didn't send the trade in email after the order shipped. Spectrum reps tried pulling up the offer code CCTI but the system doesn't respond for them. Something went wrong.

I would not open the other one until they can figure it out. If they still can't figure out, then best to return unless you want to pay the full price later.

Spectrum messes up every now and then and it would not surprise me if they can't get this fixed.

Completed 9 mail-in and 4 in-store trade-ins successfully. 3 more mail-ins to complete and I'm done for the S25 cycle. Good deal.

How many lines do you have? If I'm interpreting your comment correctly after your last 3 online trade-ins you will have done 16 trade-ins?

Thanks everyone! I had a successful trade-in via mail, received the credit from Assurant about 2 weeks after I mailed it in. Credit applied to my account, did a chat yesterday with Spectrum and they said just I had to officially request the refund from my account to my credit card, which I did right there. Super easy, took 2 minutes.

Did you get the 2nd trade in credit? Or did you end up returning the phone?

Correct. Chatted with Spectrum 3 times now. They keep saying nothing to worry about. Assurant has it at their warehouse, credit will be there on next billing statement. Very frustrating.

Just got the revised device value of 0 email from Assurant due to equipment type mismatch. Frustrating. I plug the trade in phone into Spectrums website today and it still gives $5 value for the device. Spent an hour chatting with Spectrum today and that was useless. Waiting to hear back from escalation with Assurant - not hopeful.
