This price for CL36 is not good. Other kits that have CL30 or 6400/CL 32 have been going for less

The difference in performance typically isnt ginormous, but no point paying more for worse RAM

That memory is not that tighter because it may have lower catch latency but slower tRCD (Row to Column Delay) and tRP (Row Precharge)

Video processing, especially 8k. Stitching drone/pan photos for gigapixel pictures. Just a couple examples. Both can get by with 64, but more will speed things up

If you are running AM5 its not a good idea as you will may lose the ability to MEM OC & it will run at slower rated speeds OR run into stability issues, again it will be a silicon lottery with what type of memory controller you get with your processor.

The viper memory has 32-40-40-84, compared to this 36-36-36-96. The tRCD or tRP doesn't seem that much worse. But I'm not familar with memory much either
