The perspective in their pic with no background might be misleading. It looks like it's about 5" x 7". A pic showing a guy holding it is attached. And below is a link to a video unboxing / review (The guy doesn't seem very technical so it's not an in-depth review of the features, but it's a decent overview.)

Although expensive, and i need at least 3 external ones + probably a homebase, (but refuse to pay for any subscription) I will one day probably buy 2K or greater Eufy cameras that match my doorbell. I'm sick and tired of needing to install a separate app for every single piece of hardware.

Actually, I'd appreciate that as well if you happen to have the link handy.

Interesting. I have their lightbulb camera as well. Is the rstp firmware a link from their website? Can you please post it here, or PM me the firmware link of the lightbulb rtsp firmware?

Email customer support and they should send you the firmware file.

That often seems to happen when they run heavy discounts like this. Lots of people jump in and the delivery dates get bumped way back. Mine is scheduled for Thursday delivery, but I ordered yesterday. (I'm not a Prime member, but I believe I could have gotten it next-day if I signed up for it at the time.)

this is all assuming the wifi is working yeah? However, if they cut the internet connection to the house first, then this camera stops.?

When I contacted the support they stated there is no way to make it support rstp. Not sure what you got or who you contacted.

I think that discussion was about the light bulb camera.

installed this 4 days ago, but the quality is not great for my 20ydx40 yd backyard , i put it on the shed, it has 77% battery and wifi is okay, i confirm the pannel is about size of a cellphone maybe 2.5x 5"
and it's okay if u put closer to target area so you can see people face better.

I have two of these.

The solar charging works great but the battery life sucks. If you're viewing it 24/7 on an app or something that some people have on their iPad just as a 'live cam', it's gonna drain battery quick. Otherwise, the solar charging is more than sufficient for occasional use. The 50 day battery life is probably false unless you're rarely using the app to check the feed.
My only issue is the WiFi connection is spotty. Randomly drops, sometimes you have to restart the cam and it takes a minute to load so you have to force close the app so it can restart properly.
Quality is fine. It's not supposed to be exposed to rainy weather or whatever because the charging cable sticks out but what you can do is plug in the charger, use some plumber's putty and cover the seam, and then use some foil tape to cover it.

Anyone had any luck using something like this for a Game camera?

I haven't played with this particular model yet, but many of the Wi-Fi cameras only record if they have a connection to your Wi-Fi router (even if they have a local SD card for storage). I recall seeing that happen with several Wi-Fi cams both LaView and a couple of other brands. I had them connected to a Wi-Fi Hotspot, but they stopped recording if I left with the hotspot and so there was no footage during that time when I came back later. If you're thinking of trying it, set it up on your Wi-Fi and then power off your router for a while to and see if it still records clips a little later. Another thing to consider is that it seems to take quite a bit to trigger them (so it may work better for large game than smaller animals).
