Got one during the last sale. It works great, but it raises my center of gravity such that walking and hiking takes a little while to get used to. I'm only 150lbs though, so if you're heavier, it may not have the same effect on you.

This was like 180 or something from REI in the fall and that was a great price. This is a ridiculous price.

this has been on sierra for months at this price so i have been watching it but it never sold out or they consistently restocked. last time it was posted here there were so many of the same comments saying this is always on marketplace for more, or a lot of praises all sounding the same. wondering if its bots or sierra/osprey employees pushing this product.

I can assure you as someone much larger than you (and ostensibly taller at 6'4"), my similar Kelty carrier took some getting used to. As you mentioned, it raises the center of gravity, but also it feels like it makes it much further back than regular backpack. Perhaps this can be adjusted somewhat, but it always felt kind of "sway-y" on my back.

That said, it's and awesome way to take the kids on the trail, just watch the overhead clearance.

Up to 2 definitely, but once they hit 2 and start asserting their dominance over you, it's a ride. Every kid is different though, if you guys get them used to it early that'll help big time, it'll be normal

Probably more like 6 months to 3 years, but it will depend a lot on your child. The age they hit the weight/height limits of this will vary a bit.

Crazy good Deal ,I ended up buying a Kelty but osprey was a close second on my list and at this price is hard to say no since even used on marketplace they are nowhere near this price and local Sierra's never have them in stock .
