I really like Old Bay. It is a staple on the East Coast. Shrimp and Crab for sure, but can def throw it on all kinds of stuff. Great on fries. Just a little bit spicy. Here are the ingredients. All normal spices:
Ingredients:
Celery Salt (Salt, Celery Seed), Spices (Including Red Pepper and Black Pepper), and Paprika.

Zero chance that's all that's in there, betting you are correct though in that it's simple seasoning without craziness added

from their web site

"OLD BAY perfectly blends 18 quality spices and herbs giving menu items an authentic and distinctive Chesapeake flavor. No longer used exclusively for seafood, OLD BAY enhances everything."

There is a picture of the ingredients label in the listing. That is what it says is in it. I have a can, that is also what it says on my can.

I think the generic "spices" it says on there takes care of the 18 you are quoting.

Support an equally good Chesapeake Bay seasoning "JO Spice Company". If you order seafood at a restaurant it's most likely seasoned with JO Spice. Old Bay & JO Spice #1 were created at the same time. Same story as Hydrox and Oreos.
