I just transferred a number from Red Pocket over to Infimobile for the 5GB $75 per year deal. The download speeds are the exact same as my Verizon Welcome Unlimited postpaid plan. Haven't had any issues with Infimobile up to this point.

Per infimobile terms on their website: SIM's can be activated within 60 days of purchase.

They have Sims for both the Verizon network (they use their towers) along with t mobile, so pick the one that has better coverage in your area.

Nice. Assuming they get me up and running, where did you find the T-mobile APN setting info to configure your phone? It's not on the website from what I can tell.
I didn't need to, In the past I had to manually config APN on physical SIM with different carriers as the default one was causing trouble but the Pixel 9 my family member is using auto downloaded and configured everything perfectly.

Welcome!, I also added a bit info about Infimobile telling me there was a porting issue in the my first post you quoted, it ended up being a premature false warning and all was complete within 10 minutes, so if you get similar email I'd give it another 15-20 min and see if it goes through. 👍

As an update, my account was validated and my old number was ported in. Everything looks good!

My pixel 7 pro updated its APN automatically.

Service is same as MINT at my home. 200 Mbps down

Awesome! I'm seeing around 200 down in SoCal as well.

Just another quick update. Service is running fine but I got a weird spam text.

I imported my number and it was squeaky clean for years. What gives? They selling our info?

Any clue when these sales will end? I still have another month on Mint and I've seen some sims arrive already active

If you have a TMO SIM and the text was from gorillawireless or something like that, it seems to be part of the InfiMobile setup process. I have four lines on InfiMobile now, and none of them have seen any out-of-the-ordinary text spamming since I started using them. So I have not seen anything that would indicate they are selling numbers, but it sounds like your experience is different.

I just activated my one year card yesterday 01.23.25, the web login portal is down. I had to use the infimobile app to log into my account. It says my service will expire 01.17.26 ... I know a lot of prepaid providers do this... I lost 6 days in their "Full Year" of coverage. Also their web portal has been down since yesterday. Cell service (calling/ data/ text) has been fine but their website and accessing your account info, is very lack luster.
Did it come already activated with its own number like other posters describe? Is there a way around that when you order?

You don't need to port. If you want the same number port away. If you don't need it. They give new number too
No, some people actually want to port so that they can keep their existing number. And we're concerned that the SIM card comes already activated with a new number.

I had held on to that card for almost a month before I activated it. I bought it sometime in December when there was a different sale going on. It was pretty standard activation process, allowing me to select a new number or transfer an existing number. My main number in on Google Voice so I always pick up a new number when activating.

Another great thing with Infimobile is unlike many reseller, even Mint, they let customers to renew with their current best deal. There got be Cons, right?Yes, their website and app seems done by amateurs or at least they didn't spend lot money on it. The pages don't refresh very quickly and account data loading is slow and delayed. You will see what I mean when u start use their sites.
I've had the 15GB Infimobile plan for about 5 months now. Overall it hasn't been any worse than any other carrier that I've tried. Having said that there have been a couple things that have been less than stellar...I believe that I was supposed to get a Verizon SIM when I ordered, but received a T-mobile SIM. I decided to give it a try & it's been ok, but there are a couple places where I cannot get signal & it's frustrating, especially if I'm required to be there for a while. When I chatted with them about this initially they said that I could switch to Verizon later so I've been trying to chat again with them since last night to do this & still cannot get a live rep. on the chat..It just sits there saying "calling online representative"😫. With this I can tell that their CS has most likely gone downhill since the beginning. I did leave an email about it. They replied & are trying to charge me $5 to do the network switch. If I ever get a live person I am going to ask them to waive that fee since they sent me the wrong SIM to begin with.

Thanks. Apparently that isn't working today and they are looking into it.

Did you do Verizon or Tmobile? I went Tmobile.
Same boat. I called the number and left a voicemail. I was like, a voicemail? I'm not leaving visible for some part time mobile company to call me back.

Requested a refund immediately

Rather just pay the extra $5 and have unlimited in mint plus hotspot…
Mint is not unlimited data for $15/mo for a year. That deal only lasts 3 months.
