This is the repeat low steam price for this, but if you don't have it and are interested in playing it it is worth just for the dlcs alone, not even counting the main game (which is also included).

This runs pretty well on the steam deck , just make sure to limit the fps to 60 (OLED deck goes up to 90), I have read there can be issues with the game if you run it at a higher fps

Yup, camera and physics related issues with the driving, particularly noticable when you try to do a handbrake drift in a car or turn on a motorcycle. I'm sure there are community patches for it out there somewhere, but limiting to 60fps works well enough. The original game ran at something like 20-30 fps on console, so it's still a vast improvement over most people's previous experience with the game.

IV was a good game, and I actually gave a shit about Nico which was a key distinction for me between this one and most GTA main characters.

Out of all GTA games I played I only remember Nico and CJ
Yes!

For me it's only Nico that I really remember. I vaguely remember not really finding any of the other characters to be sympathetic or interesting enough to care about whether they lived or died, but I don't remember any of their names anymore. And it must have been at least 10 years or more since I played IV. Something about IV and Nico's struggles and personality stuck with me.

Game ran perfectly on my steam deck with no tinkering necessary. When I wanted to play on my windows 11 PC with a 13900kf and 4070 the game would crash on launch every time. I did research and tried to get it to run for hours but never could. Great game tho

I guess you know about things going over heads, like my joke over yours, but that's okay, all good.

Yes, runs pretty smooth too after installing the patch mods from steam.

I think most gta characters are shitheads actively participating in crime. Where-as Nico is an actually good dude, trying to get by despite the terrible circumstances.
