On Milwaukee's authorized dealer list, this store is listed under different name as Car Parts Distributing. That address matches Clark tools address that's listed on their own website.
I bought a die grinder from Clark's Tool last year and someone called me to verify my address was correct because it didn't look quite right to him when he looked at it on a map. I was happy to have someone actually care about my order. It was packed well and arrived quickly. Outstanding customer service.
Not a perfect deal. However, prices are still better on most items even with freight due to $0 tax. And if you're building out your M12 setup and you can hit $400, then it's a SlickDeal.

The screenshot is my basket after checkout so no tax AND free shipping. Also note, that Clarks doesn't jack their prices on kits. The Oscilator Blade set is $24.97 everywhere (HD, Acme, Ace, Northern, Blain's, etc).

That site also has low prices on M18. I just ordered an M18 Packout light (2357-20). Most places have it for $199. I thought I was getting a hot deal by buying it for $155. Clark Tool has it for $115.

Also:
M18 Hackzall ($102) : https://clarkstool.com/products/m...8ab5&_ss=r

Shipping appears to be flat $15, so take that into account.

Good deals on some of the lesser advertised products. Picked up the vacuum, planer and portaband. Free shipping and no tax. They also use shopify. Thanks!

Any advantage of using Shopify? Is there some kind of cashback

Yeah but no one (at least on sd) ever pays retail price on often *hackable* Milwaukee tools and batteries (or bundles). It's usually less than 1/2 those prices you have up there, when all said and done. 🤷🏻 ♂️
Briefly looking at past slickdeals for the items in the OP, I don't see any of them that were ever less than 50% of the posted prices, let alone usually less.

I see some bundles (eg crown stapler; not hackable) with a 2ah battery for $99. Personally I don't need any more small aH batteries (still have a few in plastic bc they're useless), so on all items in the OP this seems like a better deal to me.

There was a hackable vacuum deal for $67 (plus tax), so marginally cheaper than this deal but certainly not 50% cheaper.

Overall, if you need some of the tools that are seemingly never on special, this is a great deal to get them now.

No wonder I couldn't find them on Milwaukee's website. They do have this posted on their website: We are a factory authorized warranty center for the following brands: Ingersoll Rand, Sioux, Chicago Pneumatic, Milwaukee, Bosch, Hitachi, Metabo, Florida Pneumatic, Sunex, and NAPA.

Yes, you get shopify dollars. Nothing major. I spent the $400 and got like $4. Sometimes they multiply it if you use the dollars at certain stores.

Mostly I like shopify's payment processing and tracking. I trust them more than some unknown processor, especially at previously unused sites like Clarks. Not saying Clark's isn't trustworthy, I just never shopped there before.

How did you get free shipping? I'm seeing $15 to ship to Ohio.

Edit: Free shipping kicks in at $400.

I don't understand why use a different registered name vs what's on the storefront. Must be a reason behind it. Another "authorized" dealer(Waysource) does the same thing. Placed an order so we'll see how it goes.

It's called setting up a business. You setup a main as a holding company
Then either register as LLCs or register "fictitious names" with the state for various (ie marketing) purposes.

True story. I worked for a company and was employed/paid by the holding company. We identified ourselves under 1 of 3 business names depending on what number someone called in under or emailed to.

We worked out of a 1 building that had 2 different addresses. One address on the street on the north side of the building. Second on the east side. Different street numbers and street names. Same building.

We did this because we had a wholesale division and a retail division. Different business practices and pricing.

Company want huge but wasn't tiny. $160M/yr
