On Milwaukee's authorized dealer list, this store is listed under different name as Car Parts Distributing. That address matches Clark tools address that's listed on their own website.

I bought a die grinder from Clark's Tool last year and someone called me to verify my address was correct because it didn't look quite right to him when he looked at it on a map. I was happy to have someone actually care about my order. It was packed well and arrived quickly. Outstanding customer service.

Not a perfect deal. However, prices are still better on most items even with freight due to $0 tax. And if you're building out your M12 setup and you can hit $400, then it's a SlickDeal.

The screenshot is my basket after checkout so no tax AND free shipping. Also note, that Clarks doesn't jack their prices on kits. The Oscilator Blade set is $24.97 everywhere (HD, Acme, Ace, Northern, Blain's, etc).

Was just looking at this…. Found this.

https://slickdeals.net/f/17782740-milwaukee-m12-12v-lithium-ion-xc-high-output-5-0-ah-battery-pack-2-pack-starter-kit-with-charger-48-59-2450p-99?adobeRef=7e2bb65908e54245b2e1751e1246c280&attr_track=

Amazon has it for $65. When you factor in shipping…..
Well the slickdeal you reference was definitely a slick deal. Definitely cheaper than this deal.

As for what is available right now, the 5.0 battery with $10 shipping from Clarks is $69 for me, the battery from Amazon with tax is $71.67.

If you have to pay the shipping then the deal on the battery is ok, definitely better if you can hit the $400 free shipping threshold.

Home Depot chat price matched the 5.0 battery for me. Shipping was not mentioned during chat and the battery is ready for pickup.

Home Dept Chat told me they could not price match because "Milwaukee is considered our proprietary brand"??

I've had the same experience getting fobbed off with nonsensical excuses. In fact I've never successfully gotten Home Depot to price match match anything. YMMV I guess...

M18 CP 2.0 Battery [clarkstool.com] for $25 is a steal (+$10 shipping).

Home Depot won't price match since Clark's charges shipping and Home Depot does not.

The 5.0 is current hackable for $73.07 at home depot. I didn't check if Clark's charges tax (nearly 10% here in CA) but $10 in shipping kinda sucks. HD has for pickup today or free delivery tomorrow for me. Not sure how fast Clark's ships.

I was initially declined with some generic "we don't price match", I just politely responded with Clark is an authorized deal. For whatever reason, I received a "One time acceptance".

No issues earlier today getting HomeDepot to price match. Paid $59 to pick it up from local store.

Guys, it's $15 flat shipping, not worth the argument at HD. Picked up the ho 5.0, shockwave tap, a mallet, and a few odd ends, all at better prices than elsewhere. Support the companies giving you the deals!
