Yeah Gamestop likely won't accept it and it would be worth less to a collector. If you plan on playing the game and not selling it then it's fine though as it's region free.

Best Mario party yet, I would happily pay full price. My wife and I have unlocked all the maps and put in at least 50 hrs. Great value, great fun!

[Serious] is that an issue for resell value or something? I've seen people say that Woot tends to have UAE versions but wasn't sure if the console treats it differently or if GameStop won't accept them as trade-in or if they sell for less second-hand…

I want to point out that they shipped me the UAE version of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe -- the cover art mentioned UAE, and there was an insert slip, but the cartridge itself was a US one.

This game is fun if you love watching slow animations and movement. It's crazy how stretched out each action is in party mode making the game take forever.

That's been a "feature" of all mario party games imo.

It's still so slow though, even if you speed the computers up. The text speed and excessive animations turn what should really be a 30-minute Party Mode game into a 90-minute one.

We still play it all the time, but it's definitely a game to play while multitasking on your phone, cleaning the house, making dinner, etc. There are just so many animations/slowdowns that can't be skipped or fast forwarded and serve no purpose except to make the game last longer and (I assume) mitigate load times while it's doing other things in the background.
