Nice price for no hassle. I just bought one of these from Dell for $500 -- I'm supposed to get 15% cashback, but it would've been an amazing deal to price match this and get cash back.

You can message them thru chat if it's within 30!days they might price match it. But no adjustment on the tax worked for me with an Alienware monitor. Worth a try nothing to lose....

Thanks. I did that the other day (when the Amazon price was $470 or so), and the rep wouldn't price match because supposedly they only do that pre-order or if their own site drops the price after your order. She did refund me $30 as a complimentary offer. I'm not sure I could chat with them again and get another $30 back, but I'll try later.

Camelizer agrees, doesn't even have a lower price third-party. Main downside seems to be poor HDR/contrast because the local dimming feature kinda sucks, otherwise it's a bright, low input lag, color-accurate monitor.

Would this be good to use paired with a PlayStation 5?

IPS is disappointing for contrast ratio. I don't think I'll be getting another IPS display.

I own one great for both work and gaming, thinking of 2nd one but I think it will go cheaper with all new models coming out. Especially direct from Dell combined with amex offers, CB etc.

How does this one compare to the Samsung G70B? I just ordered the G70B, but if this one is better, I can cancel the Samsung order and get this one instead.

Similar.

Dell:
slightly brighter
better color accuracy

Samsung:
smart functionality for apps.
slightly better response time
(What it is:The individual pixel response metrics (First, Total, and RGB Overshoot) that characterize a panel's response behavior at the monitor's maximum refresh rate.
When it matters:For minimizing motion blur and overshoot artifacts when playing games with the monitor set to its maximum refresh rate.)

https://www.rtings.com/monitor/to...ble/137220

I think the largest consideration is the smart functionality that the Samsung has.

Bought 2 last month. Colors are warmer than expected out of the box - you have to use custom color mode in order to change hue, RGB, gamma manually.

Input lag increases on games over 60fps, but I only use them for work.

Text clarity is great, has picture in picture mode for sneaking in a stealth gaming session while working from home.

I read one review where somebody mentioned the hdmi cables supplied were 2.0, not 2.1. Unable to verify but I swapped them out anyway.

Contrast leaves a little to be desired, and it takes some tinkering to get the colors calibrated out the box.
