Looks good, but the last two items I've bought from Woot have been DOA.

Fortunately, Woot customer service is pretty good and they just refunded my money without having to send the item back. Not sure if they sell duds or fakes, but I haven't had very good luck recently using their site for accessories like this.

Which specific items are you referring to? I've made very few purchases from them, but each time, the items were supplied directly from an Amazon fulfillment center, so who's really at fault? Woot, Amazon or crappy products?

FYI....reviews on Amazon are based upon a mix of various model chargers.

Both were Apple products. One was an Apple Mag Safe charger. It looked brand new and was in off label packaging, but it didn't work at all. I even took it to the Apple Store and they confirmed it wasn't working. The tech wanted to take it back to look at it more closely with his supervisor since I mentioned I bought it from Amazon/Woot. Not sure if they were trying to somehow fix it or inspect it more closely. The other item was an Apple charge cable.

I was refunded fairly quickly from Woot after an email through their return portal.

Thanks but please put Woot not Amazon as the merchant. They are owned by the same company but different.

"Off-label" packaging could indicate that it was counterfeit? They couldn't likely fix it at an Apple Store, but perhaps they could've determined if it was a fake? The easy refund might also be indicative that it was fake and that there were many that didn't work (just a guess). It seems unlikely that an "Amazon Basics" product would be counterfeit. It's already generic vs. a name brand.

Woot is the merchant, so that's confusing! The products being sold by Woot are the same products being sold by Amazon, and they're shipped by Amazon.

I have a couple of these and they're pretty solid chargers. No issues.

Bought 2 May 2024 same price in white. One is an extra laptop/steamdeck charger for the living room, the other powers my Pinecil. No complaints.

I had the same issue with the Apple MagSafe charger I bought from Woot. I bought two and one was dead. They gave me $ back for both.

Have several. They give off Anker same-factory vibes.

Haven't had one fail yet.

Main Pro: 15V/3A. The official output most often skipped over. Standard rating for T-Mobile Home Internet units.

Main Con: No PPS. Seriously, how did 12V get relegated to PPS? Largest USB-C fail in my opinion.

Some of the lower-power/performance laptops come with 45W chargers so 15V/3A is perfect, but many more laptops come with 65W chargers and it's too bad this charger doesn't do 65W on USB-C only. It will charge the laptop though, just slower and if plugged in while using the laptop may force Windows to use a very low performance setting.
