This contains ingredients that are actually not "reef safe" according to several reviewers.

Sunscreen with metals (i.e. zinc) generally tend to be more effective at skin cancer prevention... And you don't have to wait 30 minutes before going out after applying
This only offers chemical protection without the above benefits

'Hemp' and 'marijuana' are both cannabis species of plants with the difference being that hemp has almost no THC (<0.3%). Industrial hemp was legalized in 2018. It was only outlawed in the first place because the government considered the two to be the same plant and refused to differentiate between them despite centuries of hemp cultivation taking place in the US before then. It would be like outlawing non-alcoholic beer during prohibition 'because it's still beer.' Asinine.

The tradeoff being that no matter how much the sunscreen claims to blend in with the skin, you will have a ghostly hue. Some sunscreens counter this with tints but then you look like you have makeup on. The other tradeoff is that zinc sunscreens get everywhere and can stain things like plastic trim inside and outside your car if you don't vigorously clean your hands after applying. For me it's not worth it and I use chemical sunscreens.

Do you know what loves sweet-smelling fragrances? Bugs. No sunburn, but you will be swatting away bugs all day
