All I know is that, after 1-2 times, it's almost gone. So, I'm not impressed. It use to be that a box would last me 1-2 weeks. We are talking times now. The metric has changed. This is what they base profits on now. If consumers have adapted what is cheap, change the product to look like it was, so similar enough cardbox size with much more space.

It's absurd, and definitely right about how consumers have to adapt and their perceptions shift. My kids eat a lot of Cheerios, so I'm constantly stocking up when I see prices below .19/oz. Usually this means getting bigger boxes to be more cost-effective. Recently the parent of my kid's friend saw a box on our kitchen counter and seemed surprised over how "massive" the box of Cheerios was. Maybe it's because the box itself said it was "Mega Sized." But it was just a 24 oz box -- yes, that's as large as most cereal boxes get these days, but pretty standard size cereal box if you're feeding a family and not living in a city apartment. But the goalposts have moved, where many people see a 12-18 oz box and think that's large (because those are now priced like large boxes, and brands will label them as "family size" or "super size" to give the impression that you're getting a deal).
