This wasn't even a food issue but rather can manufacturing. The easy open tab thingy poked holes in the tin so if not on the list should be fine.

Certainly and I'm in full agreement. But, again - If can code not on FDA the list should not be an issue but AMZ still refunded.

how are you getting a refund by Amazon? it's still in package but I can see that my lot number is on the recall list (it's the last one).

I went in to do a "return" on the item on my Amazon account and when I am reqiured to select "reasons for return", none of the options was "recall" or "I don't want to risk dying from eating this!"

Had to do a chat with customer service but it was pretty much instant.
