I'm not going to hate too much on this, but I do not think well of PDP products. I have not personally used this product. I actually like wired controllers because you don't have to worry about lag or batteries. I would just wait for the 8bitdo pro 2 wired controller to go on sale. They have a version that comes with hall effect sticks which should be immune to stick drift. I'm not getting a commission so buy what you want. This controller will probably be fine if you're in a bind.

I mean, this is one of those situations where it's not that much cheaper than an official wireless controller (which you can use wired as well). I'm not sure how bad stick drift is with those. I personally have not had issues with stick drift that I'm aware of; however, I will say that I have destroyed a USB port on the official controllers over time from unplugging/replugging, and a little bit of abuse (not throwing controller, but like hanging it and it disconnects, or rapidly pulling out the USB cable). Kinda makes me want to go back to my old X360 wired controller honestly, but the ability to switch to bluetooth/RF on the official is nice if I'm travelling.

You gotta be careful because the pro 2 came with and without hall effect sticks. The link you sent doesn't mention hall effect sticks. The link I'm including does, but black is sold out and white is $35.99

I really like the feel of the power a switch controllers but they don't last. Historically you could just buy a couple to make up the difference and come out even. I even use them for PC gaming because I like the hair triggers.

I just got the wireless version of this for the switch today. So far it's my new favorite controller. All my other wireless ones (including the joy cons) are just at/out of range where my couch is sitting from my switch itself. I have a large TV and sit pretty far from the stand/switch when playing in the living room.

If this wired version performs anything like my wireless one it should be a solid controller.

I'd not used these before, but it looked like a good controller. I use them for casual gaming on PC. Grabbed one. Thanks for the tip.
