I don't understand how they can legally call this "hazelnut spread" when it is 51% added sugar and 24% palm oil. 🤷

Italians have been eating it on the regular for decades and we still live to be 100, I wonder why that is? Oh I know! The concept of "moderation" does not exist in the U.S.

1. That doesn't explain how they can get around the US labeling laws
2. The Italian recipe is different and has more hazelnuts

Exactly, and in the US, food conglomerates love to pump everything with high fructose corn syrup which is considerably worse for you than raw sugar.
