One of the best games ever made.

But i've heard it does not run that well on the Switch.

If it's your only platform get it but go in blind. DO NOT watch reviews or guides.

Doesn't run well on switch absolutely.

Finally got this game at Christmas and can confirm the hype is real. I had to stop playing it though because the story is quite dark and I needed a perky game as a diversion. I'm guessing I'm about 50-60 percent through and once I figured out why the game is why it is, I became extra impressed with the writing.

I've heard very good things but did not want to read (I'd like to go in blind as you say).

Just wanted to know if in your opinion, is this game is suited for portable play on a small screen? Just wanted to see if I should get for PS5 or potentially future Switch 2 (I did hear the same that the current Switch cannot handle it).

It's got some hiccups on the Switch and graphics are materially "worse", but it's still great. PS5 is obviously preferred, unless handheld mode is #1 priority (and assuming you don't have a Portal).

One of the most interesting game I've ever played. However, need to warn you its very disorienting when you start and it took me over 6 hours of game play before I started enjoying it. However, when it clicked, it became one of my favorite gaming experience of all time

If you have other options, do not buy it on the Switch. While the graphics and performance are substantially worse, the real deal breaker is how long the game takes to load. It seriously kills the pacing.

Still hasn't clicked for me after 3+ hours. I agree it's very disorienting and also redundant. Maybe I'll keep trying.

What perky game did you "switch" to? (Heh, but seriously… I want to know)

It's THE most important game you'll ever play. Go in blind. The doc is also worth it.

Played a few silly shovelware ones we had, then Ni No Kuni 2. Writing isn't the best but it is an optimistic if simplistic story.

If anyone is interested in buying the game and the DLC together at a cheaper price. They are both included in the Archaeologist edition- https://www.nintendo.com/us/store...on-switch/

Playing this on PCVR with the NomaiVR mod. Super easy to install and is the most incredible VR adventure I've ever been on. Wireless Quest 3 is amazing.
