People won't be able to answer that because it depends entirely on how much traffic is in the viewable area, or how often the camera would be detecting events.
This is also why most cams have sensitivity adjustments.
Got it ... thanks for taking time to reply. Have a great safe weekend.

Saw in another comment you're using Blue Iris and an RTSP stream with these. Were you able to install Thingino via an SD card or did you have to open it up and use a clip? Information is scarce, and the only person I found on the Discord with this model said he had to open it up.

At $13, this is unsurprisingly the 2.4Ghz version of Laview's bulb cam (as per a quick check of the listed model). That's not abnormal for IoT stuff these days though. We just bought some digital frames for family over the holidays and the Frameo and even the more expensive Aura ones were essentially 2.4Ghz only. This is why I still think it's important to have separate 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz SSIDs available. Some stuff does not play nice with combined networks even now. The Frameo would constantly disconnect until I separated the networks on an ISP gateway device at a family member's house. Once the 2.4Ghz was separate, no problems and the Frameo maintained a connection. As for onvif, one customer said they asked support and were sent a bin file to flash via SD and reset the cam to enable onvif. The vast majority say no onvif though, at least out of the box. But let's be honest, most people buying this don't even know what onvif is and don't care.
2.4ghz radios require less power. main reason they are in IoT devices. especially ones that are battery operated.

I wish Google Fiber would listen to you. Besides extended coverage, this is why I roll my own Zyxel AP. Google Fiber, in their infinite wisdom, does not allow you to separate 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz SSIDs on the router they provide.

2.4ghz has some advantages (distance/penetration), but that wasn't really my complaint.

Most people don't know squat about what network they have or how to fix a device dropping off the network constantly. And since many default router or AP settings are to "push" devices to 5Ghz, that means all these 2Ghz devices drop off intermittently. And if the routers (esp ISP ones) are dumb, that dance never ends. This is what was happening with the Frameo I had at a relative's house.

Also, some 2Ghz devices can't even see a mixed network to connect in the first place, so that's always fun.
And we haven't even touched on how few true channels there are with 2.4Ghz, the congestion of traffic, and how one slow device can bog all your stuff, including your new IoT toy, down.

It's time to move off 2.4Ghz-only options IMO, we deserve better.

That's crazy, at least the ISP router I had to deal with let me split the network or deactivate 5Ghz (didn't have to do that thankfully).
At that point I'd say it's time for pass through mode and/or your own APs, totally agree.

Not sure exactly what you're saying (but I only speak one language so I'm not gonna hate), but there is a setting to enable the light only on motion detection.
