FWIW I used these for years but got fed up with my black shirts gettting stained that waxy buildup. I tried the baking soda trick and even steamed them but the wax actually stains, so once its set, its set. Eventually I saw that Degree also makes a variant with a blue-clear gel color (the lids are usually clear so you can differentiate them on the store shelf). Switching to that gel type ELIMINATED the damage to all of my shirts; and it seems every bit as effective.
TL;DR, consider switching to the clear blue gel versions if you have trouble with waxy buildup on your shirts.

Please try again - Amazon links work sporadically. Sometime they need to be clicked several times.

All these antiperspirant make my hairy armpits sticky. Anyone know of a non sticky antiperspirant? So far the only one that works for me is dove invisible dry but they are hard to find and expensive.

Interesting. I had that happen to one shirt. I. find their gel version doesnt work well for me at all though. They ruined sport which I used forever when they switched to gel. I prefer the non gel version.

Shave your armpits. More comfortable and you use less product

I've gotten at least the waxy stuff off by spraying oxyclean stain remover on the inside of the pit and scrubbing it for a few seconds with a brush (I keep a toothbrush by the machine), there is still minor discoloration but I had years of buildup that went away doing this.

I get that it sucks to have to do that at all though.
