my store was oos, but best buy price matched over chat

They ignored it for me despite at first asking. There is some comments in here saying inventory of certain zip codes was wrong (was zero but showed in stock anyhow). If any of those are still showing, would just use those. Or maybe next agent doesn't care...luck of the draw

Anyhow, you can check that [phantom] stock with the Costco app and clicking warehouse, then putting in the Item ID #

As far as if they insist on using that zip for checkout, just mention you're vacationing so rather pick up at a different location/ship

Or if that isn't possible, looks like you may still be able to change location after (I've done it, but years ago)

On BB site:

Let us know within 30 minutes if you'd like to:
  • Change your shipping method
  • Switch from shipping to store pickup
  • Change the shipping address
Let us know within 5 days if you'd like to:
  • Change the store pickup location
  • Change the person picking up your order

It's a M3 Pro with 18GB ram. I got rejected saying out of stock three times on the day when this deal was originally posted on SD. But last night, the agent I pinged was able to do the price match to $1083 in the first attempt.

Again tried at bestbuy , same challenge they can't process match for OOS item, they said they can do 1399$ which is still high. Any area where it shows in stock for Costco?

I think potentially the key to knowing if you're wasting your time (similar to another post earlier) is if they ask for your email off the bat then you're likely good to go with an agent looking to make a sale.
confirmed this method worked for this AM. agent asked for email and then invoiced me for $1090

Looks like it's up to the agent's discretion. If BB policy says no, then none of them would have been able to authorize the price match.

I got one for $1083 + tax, free shipping.

I gave the agent, when asked, the same zip code as my local Costco. But checkout has my correct address.

Finally got price matched with bestbuy, they offered $1100 not $1089. However I had to take bestbuy plus membership for $49. Anyone knows if I can cancel that after picking laptop?
