I didn't see the deal until yesterday. My local store (Charlottesville VA) showed that it had the M3 $799.97 version in stock but not the M3 Pro $999.97 version (which I couldn't find in stock anywhere nearby). I couldn't get to the store to verify. I tried PM at BB once. It failed.
This morning I noticed that the app showed both the M3 and M3 Pro models in stock at Charlottesville when I searched for "macbook." Later in the day when I searched "macbook" again, nothing at all showed up, which was obviously a glitch or a purposeful move on Costco's part. I had to wait to go to the store until after work.
They had a tag out for the $799.97 version but not the $999.97 version. I asked the guy to look into it, and he went to the back and confirmed they had one of each. Of course, I bought the M3 Pro version and went on my way.
If you want the regular M3 version, there was still one there as of around 4pm today.
I'm sure I got lucky, but if your store wasn't showing any in stock, it may not mean much. Thanks OP for the deal!
My $1250 system price match got rejected even after two chat agents gave me a case ID and said the refund was processed....At the end of the day, I will keep the $1250 system.... Something is better than nothing, but a lesson learned (I knew not to trust them, but a written chat transcript will come in handy, as I am trying something.... Let's see).

After about 20 chats, I was able to get it price matched. The agent even asked me how many units I wanted. I almost said 2 but didn't want to push my luck. I was happy with the 1.
I should also add, if you get the message "All agents are busy" in chat use a VPN. I had the issue where my IP was blocked from chatting with agents. As soon as I turned on my VPN the chat was available again.
Thanks for sharing wish the deal wasn't marked as expired since price matching still works, but whatever.
