Rz50 price has gone to the dogs ! Seems like they cannot get rid of them fast enough ! I bought one when it first came out replaced it with a denon 4800h . Rz50 had HDMI board issues . Still sitting in the corner . Worst purchase I ever made .

I bought mine in 2022 for 1400, and it had been one of my best purchases. But seeing how prices have tanked, wish I waited 2 years to buy

I replaced a Yamaha Aventage RX-a660 with an rz50, it was a monstrous upgrade for $800 at the time.

Strange. I have zero issues with mine. Been used nearly every day for over 2 years.

Is Buydig an authorized Onkyo dealer which will allow for the full 3 year parts and labor warranty from the manufacturer? Can't seem to find out this info on them.

I was wondering the same thing last month. BuyDig is not listed in the Onkyo website as an authorized reseller. I played it safe and paid the $799 for the electronics expo deal instead

Ya kinda on the same subject. I too have been using this reciever AVR for about 2 years solid. It's been awesome. Full Klipsch RP system and 3 powerful separates attached to it and it's never flinched. The boards were fixed and all these they are selling are after the fiasco with the faulty components. Denon early hdmi2.1 AVRs suffered the same thing as did Yamahas. Mine is attached via Earc and I have multiple stuff attached. Everything works just fine. Reccommend if using Dirac to set it up from a laptop. Once dialed in this thing will peel the paint off the walls. If I have anything to fault it for it's that when things really get going my center door on the AVR does not stay closed. I've learned to just get over it.

I was between this and a Denon avr-x4700h, and I went with the Denon. Guess I made the right decision

Good buy on a great receiver, for this price point
Mine has been stellar for year now

But.....how many years are they going to sell these?...Its been out since 2021
But perhaps thats why they can sell it now at this price point. They should have recovered their costs long ago, associated with this product, and its pretty much gravy money now.

I just have never a product in this range be on the market nearly this long

Ok so question for you: my old Denon would power down when I turned off my television, same tv hooked up to this one, but the device control stuff seems not as well integrated. Minor annoyance, but I'm touching the avr remote way more now than I did with the Denon.
