I just finished up a roll of this and wouldn't buy it again. Even after drying it was very stringy.

I bought two rolls not long ago due to a similar deal on slickdeals. The first roll was totally a disaster and I kept getting spaghetti occasionally.

As for the second roll, I am trying to tweak some parameters. On the package, there are two recommended sets of parameters -- one for slow printing speed with lower nozzle and bed temperatures and one for fast printing speed with higher temperatures. The default 'generic PETG' profile within the Bambu Studio I am using falls into the fast speed range and caused me a lot of troubles. Now I am using a customized profile with nozzle temperature of 230C and printing speed lower than 100mm/s. So far, I met less problem.

Funny, this is the first brand of filament I ever bought years ago. Thought it was a generic brand that disappeared in the wind. Guess not. In for 2kg, I remember the PLA being decent.

The only thing keeping me from this is the max speed is 100m/s.

Trying to learn here.
Do you think that is because the filament is junk? Does PETG just work like that? maybe better temps or different speed? I've only just cracked open my first roll of PLA.

Yeah I havent tested a lot of PETG filaments myself but this particular brand prints really shiny (the white is almost translucent) and has poor adhesion compared to others ive used. Its ok but i have had much better luck with cheap PLA. If you need some PETG for some high strength parts that are just functional but not going to be seen, this is good. But the finished details just arent there.

I mean, it works and I'd probably use it for something if I was given a roll, but I wouldn't buy it again when there are better options for close to the same price. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but compared to the Creality and Kingroon PETG I've used, this one was the worst. It got really stringy on a few prints (especially ones with thinner walls), plus I don't really like how shiny it is in comparison.

I got this deal and used it I got the black and white one to test it out. I tried the white on my bamboo mini and it took to the plate OK but then it started stringing a quarter of an inch up. I use the generic profile then set the temp to 230 C. I noticed the temp dropped to 170 C. Perhaps it was going back to the profile temperature. Then I put it on my bamboo combo. It printed fine. The white dead scene translucent and in murky. They also seem to work well and be very strong. So I'm still confused whether I should double down and get the red orange and blue for cheap. Im semi noob
