I'm at least glad they stated location tracking is required before I signed up. Noped out right there.

Someone posted the code to sign up yesterday, but I can't find it in previous post anymore.

Does anyone have a working code to sign up?

I did all the verification and failed to verify. Does this mean my info is sold without getting any reward?

sounds like it. lots of talk on reddit with similar situations. they are no doubt being hammered right now, so maybe it'll work out in the end.

i was tempted to give it a try but with all the privacy concerns and the issues they are having signing people up, i'm gonna wait it out awhile. I got enough Freedompop and FreeUp free plans to manage already at this point. This one is tempting due to the extra data, so i'll just watch and see how it works.

is your $5 unlimited plan? Mind share the zipcode?
No, that was a holdover from the un-updated app. After update, I was eligible for the Zero (free) plan.

Had helium a year ago, tried the zero plan now. Internet connection is unstable. I tried downloading a 1.5 GB file and it stopped downloading at 300 MB. Switched over to Visible and it continued downloading until the download completed. Tried watching YouTube videos and just like before it stopped buffering. It's probably a good plan for a backup number or a family member who needs the basics and is usually connected to Wi-Fi.
So, it's only good for a flip phone. Got it.

Signed up as a secondary plan and it's been decent for free. It does show tracking at the top of the phone when I leave the house. Other than that, it's good for a free secondary line.

Not worth it. When they go out of business the first thing they'll sell is your personal info
According to their website they're already using/selling your data if you sign up for the free plan..

There is no consensus. Some folks are willing to jump in for 'free'. Some folks reject it because of the cost of 'free'. Same old. Develop your own view, and follow that.
