Looks like they're going through the models and dropping them one by one to $59. Standing by for the C64 version to get discounted!

This is my third 8bitdo keyboard. First was the NES which is great. Then the C64 which has very authentic key caps. I'm typing this on this exact M Edition, just arrived this week. I love these keyboards.
A few FAQ's in the thread:
- keys are loud. If you share an office space, reconsider.
- works fine with macOS using bluetooth or the dongle. I use the dongle since they seem to overall be more reliable and allow me to get some KVM-esque switching off my thunderbolt hub. Go into system settings -> Keyboard -> Keyboard Shortcuts -> Modifier keys and you can change the meta/⌘ and option keys around to be more Apple style. I also move the A and B keycaps to the two ⌘ keys for additional aesthetics.
- Super buttons are very easy to program: push the star button on the keyboard (middle of the three buttons in the top left), press a key, press the button you want to assign that key to. I mostly use them when playing games with my kids to map jump/shoot so I can still mostly drive but they can do some things. I've also used them as a makeshift pedals for a driving rig for Truck Simulator. I don't keep them on my desk, just pull them off the shelf where they're displayed when I need them.

MSRP is $100 on the three color ways (c64 is $10 more because it includes the joystick). I paid $90 for this M Edition a week ago. They also just released a wireless 10-key NES edition that you might consider. Keep in mind the matching numpad/calculator magnetically attaches to the right side of the keyboard. The NES edition shows up on sale all the time. 8BitDo just released a new transparent green Xbox licensed keyboard (and mouse) so it does seem like they'll probably keep churning out color ways but they're done well enough I'm actually looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

I love my NES edition and M edition, one for home and one for the office. chyrosran22 also mentioned he daily drives these a lot despite his vast collection. Holding out for the C64 edition sale as well since I have the other 2.

I had pre-ordered the NES Edition. I've been using it at work since then and have really enjoyed it. Whenever I see the sales I contemplate picking up an extra or one for home use though I like smaller keyboards for my home PC.

Isn't it really loud for work with the white switches?

They're louder than browns but not as loud as blues. It's not a quiet keyboard but it's a fairly satisfying sound I think. As far as I know no co-workers wish harm to me or my keyboard.

So how do you know you guys will like this w/o having touched them in person first?

Or are you taking a chance and they have a generous return policy?

Works fine on Mac. Using the NES version on my MBP. Their software doesn't install on Mac but it isn't a necessity.

As an fyi I couldn't get the big buttons to work with a Mac. Decent enough keyboard but ai also goes to sleep often and it won't capture my first few key strokes making me erase the half work and try again

What does it mean that not Mac compatible. I used a keyboard mouse switch (not kvm) and hook my usb
Keyboard to it so I can use them on my MacBook when I work from home

Will it completely ignore it or is it just a lack of Mac keys like the command key. I currently remap them to ctrl anyway.

Numbed does not attach magnetically. At least in the N edition, I have.
