model of the impact is DCF845. this is the best impact dewalt makes for construction. it doesn't have as much torque as the DCF850 or DCF860, but it's super light, compact and impacts very fast. it drives screws faster than DCF850 or DCF887.

Be aware that this is a the "regular" 8ah battery, not the new "powerpack". these use to be XR branded. dewalt removed the XR branding but it's still the same battery with Samsung 21700 40T cells inside

8ah- $70 to $100. Hard to say but the powerpack mite have devalued this a little but at the same time not everybody gonna know bout the powerpack so idk. if you can find a store that has all in stock you can hack the 8ah which would be the better option im thinking. must be purchased in store to hack with lowes

I did it with another tool yesterday w/ this same 8ah BOGO battery. I walked out to my car, set the tool inside, then walked back in to CS to return the battery.
As long as the store has stock it should work fine.
