After I open it, I transfer to smaller jars like salsa jars that I've saved. Easier to store in the back of the fridge and less headspace so slows the oxidation. If you have more room in your freezer, you can put them in there. It won't freeze, but it will extend the life even more.
From Frank's FAQ on the website:

"Refrigeration will help maintain its flavor; however, it is not necessary if you prefer your Frank's RedHot® to be room temperature."
Best deal I've ever seen on this stuff and I've been buying it for years.

Got my bottle today busted open. To make it worse, the transit company clearly knew it because the box was blatantly re-taped shut even with leaky sauce inside and out. They still chucked it on my porch and acted like nothing happened. Of course they're saying they can't replace it but I can have a refund. Gee thanks.......
My order was also damaged in transport before reaching me. I guess they are just throwing these gallon jugs in boxes and hoping for the best.

Damn. The whole truck would have smelled like Frank's. No way they didn't know.

I'm going "can" it right away with pint Mason jars when I first open it. I plan to do a few with a water bath, and a Foodsaver to vacuum seal the others. As long as the jars are sterilized, I don't think either method will be a problem since hot sauce is shelf stable to begin with due to the low PH. I'm hoping it preserves the just opened flavor longer. The flavor degrades a little once the big jug is half empty, even in a cool basement. I don't have room in the fridge for it.
This is a great idea, since I can fairly often. Would you heat it before pouring into jars?

When I make homemade hot sauce I always pasteurize first (maintaining 180F for 10 minutes, do not bring to a boil), but this is a fully shelf stable item that never needs refrigeration. Once opened refrigeration helps maintain the quality, but as others have mentioned you don't need to.

I think it's completely optional whether you heat (pasteurize) it or not before canning. There is a chance that re-heating by pasteurizing it will change the flavor, but since I've never done it I can't say for sure. I personally am only going to sanitize my jars first, neatly pour the sauce out of the jug into the jars, then can them. A 15-minute water bath is probably enough with the pint jars to seal them.
