Neat. Thanks for the correction. I can see where I said "tax" instead of "estimated tax" and that might have triggered your corrective response.

There are dozens of Jack Link products with this 25% off coupon. This is a good deal in terms of cost per oz ($0.79) but their 20 pack of .92oz barbeque flavor is slightly less expensive ($0.70/oz) and packs more bang for the buck.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CKWL1YGN

OP's variety pack is also a good deal, I believe it's 2nd-best overall in terms of cost per oz, so pick based on your flavor preference.

Coupon is one use per account, so choose wisely.

I bought the 'original' sticks a couple months ago for hubby. The Amazon page said "no added nitrates/nitrites". When we got them, the box said there WERE added nitrates so I contacted Amazon and they refunded me.

It's made of pork, and pork is usually cheaper than beef.

Aren't there are still 11 states that charge sales tax on food/groceries?

Did you get to keep them or had to send them back?

Why does this cost more (per oz) than Steak or Lobster?

I didn't buy this deal but when you dry out meat or fruit, you need a significantly larger quantity than when you cook it. It shrinks down a ton = you need more quantity to make it. That's why beef jerky, dried fruit are much more expensive than the same size of regular undried version.
I've made beef jerky before at home and used a few pounds of beef, the outcome was much less than a pound of jerky (maybe 8-12 oz). I didn't weigh it but it was much less than I expected. I've done the same with fruit and some deflate to practically nothing.

Maybe the 47 could issue an executive order to eliminate it in your state.
