Keep the batteries and charger indoors. Only take the battery you're actively using outside when it's time to run the snowblower. Bring it back inside when done, whether it needs charged or not. Key to good runtime and good charging performance.

Tempted, but even in the midwest it rarely snows. I have the model down from this and in the past 3 years I've only used it 6 times. I also love that the lower models can fold up and are light enough to be placed on a shelf when not in use.

Use mine about every other day lately. It is very easy to maneuver and relatively small. Used to be for 1"-4" I just broke out the shove rather than deal with the Ariens 33", but now I just run the EGO most of the time. Above about 6", I switch over the Ariens particularly to deal with the plowed stuff at the road.

Did you store them inside?

I really want it but can't legitimize it. We barely get much snow any more. Global warming?

The single stage. It's OK. I threw mine away. The two refurbished batteries stopped working on year 2. Basically garbage.
