Help me find good music system

Guys,
I love listening to bollywood/Indian classical music from 70s/80s/90s. It doesnt need a lot of beats, bass, loudness but just soft melodic music. So I would think if I bought 2 good speakers and hook it up to stereo amplifire and connect it to my computer with 3.5mm audio jack, or bluetooth it, I should be able to play MP3 music and hear a pretty good sound. May be buy big speakers and hear them in reduced volume like 10-15%.
Does anyone have experince putting a good system together can provide me some feedback. Bose speakers seems to have a good name, not sure which speakers I should go with. Right now I have Bose companion 5 and it seems to be ok but looking to get even better experince.
