Yah maybe cleaning out all the Targets or whatever store is lame in a way, but really who actually cares?

Flipping, that is what every single store is doing. You do know that right?
Buy low & sell high, supply & demand. These are things that drive any business.
Tell yourself whatever you want but someone buying and reselling for profit is business 101.
Exactly my point. Where do you draw the line? I can see doing it for essential items would be in bad taste but something like this - a luxury - it's nothing to be ashamed about.

For anyone in NYC that wants one. The target in queens, college point had at least 3 in stock at 70% off when I went yesterday. If I didnt already have a Ebike that I dont use, I would have bought one.

I assembled the bike this morning but It was missing one bolt for the front wheel. Not great quality control to be missing that. Managed to get one at local shop. Disk brakes are kind of weak and needed adjustment out of the box due to slight rubbing. I only can compare it to my Lectric XP 3.0 and this bike is much lighter but battery life is shorter. Gears were well calibrated and shift quickly and smoothly. Pedal assist works well, buttons to adjust pedal assist is a little stiff but nothing major. Fit and finish is pretty solid overall. I'm happy with it especially at under $300. I can always sell it for what i bought it for if I don't like it.
Can confirm, I assembled this evening and am also missing a front wheel bolt. Do you by chance know the size? Thanks!

Like I said, justify it to yourself all you want, you don't know me, no need to type all that to try and justify yourself to me.

Mine had a plastic protective ring on the front wheel that I unscrewed to get off (not in the instructions) - then realized that the bolt was actually stuck inside. So I screwed it back on and then just yanked the plastic ring off. Your bolt may be stuck in there too!

Thanks I'll check the yard and everything else in the box tomorrow. My front wheel had a silver bolt and nuts through the fork. But don't remember seeing what I needed. Thanks for the reply! Also have noticed that it's not wanting to go into 1st gear without it cranking and slipping back to 2nd. looks to be a derailleur issue. I'll dive into this weekend!

Standard size. I'm lucky to have a local bike shop within walking distance of me so I just brought the wheel with me. If you take the wheel with you to a bike shop or go to home depot, they can get you one. I believe it's 17mm. Crazy that they missed something so essential.

After riding the bike some more i'm really disappointed with the brakes. They are way underpowered. It's nice they put disk brakes, but they are mechanical not hydraulic. I've adjusted them and tried to 'bed' the pads (repeated braking until slowing down but not stopping completely) but they are still pretty meh. I think non-disk brakes would've been better at this point. Might have to swap the pads and/or whole braking system out if I decide to keep it.

Thanks for the info. You have 2 black bolts that are cone-shaped for the wheels? I still have the box.

Yes, I strongly suggest you recheck all bolts and check your brakes for rubbing too. Likely some things will need adjustments right out of the box. My gears were spot on though, they shift quickly and smoothly.

Just checked, YOU ARE RIGHT! I found the bolt in the round disk brakes protective ring that was installed. Thanks!
