EDIT: Looks like they upped the price on the Qualita rossa variety. Crema e gusto still available at this price at time of edit.

Fantastic deal (imo) to stock up on bricks of espresso at ~$3/lb shipped. I was charged tax, but shipping is free on $50+ (works on two 20-ct espresso cases).

This appears to be lavazzas own storefront, using Amazon fulfillment and backend. I have ordered with no issues here, and previously with them as the seller on Amazon.

To get this price:
1. Add 2 x 20ct. 8.8oz bricks of espresso as a -subscription- (this appears to use Amazon behind the scenes. No issues cancelling, arrived similarly fast.)

This should work on both "Qualita rossa" (linked, medium roast, v popular in Italy) and "Crema e Gusto" (darker roast- maybe a bit past French roast, but not as dark as bustelo). You can mix and match, these are per case prices.

2. Apply 20% off code LOVE in checkout. Total should be $61.20 shipped

3. Cancel subscription with or without signing up, there is an email-link based way to do it. Probably should wait until shipping confirmation to do this as is standard with Amazon s+s discounts.

4. Enjoy your freaking $3/lb espresso! Dates on mine were ~18 months out. $61 for a year's supply felt like a steal to me personally.

NOTE this is espresso grind, so on the finer side. But they sell whole beans and coarse grind "filtro", and 20% code LOVE and the free shipping over $50 seems to be store wide.

Enjoy!

Perhaps a great price, but there are a couple problems.

Firstly, it's ground - this is the absolutely worst way to purchase coffee. You should always purchase beans
and grind just prior to brewing your coffee.
Secondly this quantity will take a while to consume, and despite the myth of long shelf life; coffee does go bad -- perhaps it may not fully expire immediately, but you can definitely taste the rot and rancidity over time.

Points are valid, but it's $3/pound. I can give 10 pounds away and it would still be cheaper per pound than local purchase.

Over time, they definitely can get a bit off. But stored somewhere cool (not the freezer) I find they're ok to within at least 6 months of expiry. And the date on these makes me think they're pretty fresh.
Fwiw though these come in mylar, vac sealed and possibly/presumably nitrogen flushed... It definitely keeps a lot better in these bricks than it would in a bag from the store. I take mine with cream only, so can't claim to be a real purist, but for me, cracking a fresh bag weekly, always folding/clipping it... They do ok. And I don't have to wake my neighbors up to grind a fresh cup 😬
Edit: prod dates on mine for anyone wondering are-
Rossa - prod 9/17/24, best by 8/30/26
Crema e Gusto - prod 10/30/24, bb 9/30/26

If it's within your means...put that good karma out there!! 😅🙏 Food pantries (and their clients) generally are extremely grateful for coffee.

They had a 30% coupon code last month for Cyber Monday, so I assume it was cheaper then. You can get a 4-pack of these 250g bags for $8.76 right now on Amazon. That's $3.98/pound and you only have to buy 2.2 pounds to get that price instead of 22 pounds.

Tried all these before. I get a better cup from Cafe Bustelo lol. All the Lavazza have this weird sweet taste to them.
